For right-hand drive 1958-1964 models, if you are installing the booster for the first time or replacing it, you might require the booster bracket listed at the bottom of this page (# PW17990E). If you purchase the bracket but find it unnecessary, please keep it in pristine condition and return it for a refund to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

 This is a GM engineered correct for weight Disc kit... designed off the 1969 to mid 80's most successfully widely used GM front disc brake ever.

 

If the rear brakes haven’t been serviced recently, consider replacing the rear brake hose to prevent internal flow restrictions that develop over time. Performing this maintenance correctly once ensures lasting performance. Experienced professionals will appreciate that the rotors and pads included are GM replicas, widely available as replacement parts. This also helps meet regulatory requirements for vehicle inspections.

 

NOTE: If buying the kit.. be aware of and instruct your installer.. that the USA style proportioning valve if different to most.. you need to read the blurb down the bottom here.. or you or your installer will bugger the prop valve and claim its faulty etc.. seriously....!

BEFORE BLEEDING UP THE Master and prop valve.. illustrated below.. take out the WARNING SWITCH and Thread in.. IN ITS PLACE.. the PV TOOL.. that is needed to KEEP the internal shafts apart during bleeding.

Once all bleed up and driving ok.. braking ok.. and no known reason to have to re bleed the system.. put the WARNING SWITCH BACK IN.

  • .... and a 8" new Power Brake Booster OR whatever size you want like a 7"' 9" or 11"...??? We'll swap it and set it up .. No extra cost... OR.. If unsure ... Just keep the booster pack very clean and neat and we'll swap and work with you the way it should be to get the parts best suited.

You need to have at least 15" rims .... NOT 14".
