A Disc Brake FRONT Kit: 64-72 A Body Slotted GTO Chevelle
This GM "A-body" front brake upgrade kit for 1964-72 models provides a full conversion to power disc brakes with factory-style components. The 2-wheel set includes a booster and slotted rotors, compatible with GTO, Le Mans, Tempest, Chevelle, and Nova. It’s a comprehensive kit with clear instructions for straightforward factory-style installation, maintaining standard factory height. Requires rims of at least 15".
Booster sizes can be adjusted from the factory 8" to 11" upon request. The rotors and pads are GM reproduction parts, widely recognized and readily available in the industry.
Delivery for this heavy kit requires additional truck freight charges, with no COD option available. Shipping within Australia ranges from $96 to $150, calculated pro-rata from Wollongong. Regional deliveries to WA or NT require a custom quote. Pickup from our warehouse will waive these fees.
This kit contains numerous components. When bleeding this American GM brake system, use a "PVTOOL" as shown below to avoid damaging the proportioning valve, which differs from local Holden types. If you already have a US GM disc brake setup, search our site for the "PVTool" to ensure proper maintenance.
