  • WHEN bleeding the system BEFORE filling and pressuring it.. take out the stop light switch and fit up the temporary PVTool. Look it up if you are unsure otherwise your 90% chance of stuffing the Prop Valve.  We provide a PVTool with each kit.
  • You will need a large bore master cylinder and a disc/disc proportioning valve.
  • The 2nd Gen Camaro & Firebird TA (1970-74) rear disc brake kit provides an easy to install, bolt on solution for upgrading your cars 10 or 12 bolt rear-end to disc brake performance. This should improve your stopping performance from drums to 11" vented and drilled rotors!
  • If you don't have staggered shocks do not purchase this kit.
  • Proportioning valve use PV4K2 & Master use PW10104.

  Rear calipers that have an internal parking brake with a lever can be troublesome. These calipers must be adjusted so that the piston is moved out and the pads are close to the rotor. If this initial adjustment is not made the pistons will travel outward during activation but no squeezing of the rotor will occur. This can be checked by clamping off the rear hoses and checking if the pedal gets better. Adjust as necessary.
