A: Rear Brake Shoes & Cylinder Kit Special

Do the job once... this is a money saving and time saving kit...

• This kit does BOTH SIDES.... the Brand New rear wheel cylinders complete.. PLUS a new set of rear brake shoes...

• If you have ever been around mechanic's or good brake people.. you\'ll appreciate that hydraulic\'s in brakes must work evenly. Each rear Cylinder has the same life expectancy as the other.. but over time ONE will leak BEFORE the other.. so if your are leaking .. and you fix ONE.. they other will take extra loading and start leaking either straight away or very soon after.

  IF.. your looking for SHOES ONLY. because that's the only thing that looks visually worn.. but have not or do not know how old the rear cylinders are.. then again.. they most likely have slugge buildup and corrosion to some degree around the cylinder bore\'s seals.. where they CURRENTLY operate inside the cylinder.. When you go to fit new shoes.. you have to depress the pistons and seals in the wheel cylinder to accommodate the extra lining on the new shoe diameter.. hence a leak develops... Thats the worst case senerio anyway.. apart from running out or having reduced brakes..

  All this may sound like a big NAG... but for the sake of common sense.. we have tried to explain it... that's all.

   

• NO EXCHANGE NEEDED - one kit, one job..

• Choose Model and year grouping of production... various year area's used different parts...  NOTE that the 1983- 84 era is known to have had both METRIC or Imperial rear wheel cylinders fitted. IF you have one of those years.. consider getting also the other type PR of cylinders.. we will make if obvious which is which so when doing the job your not stalled.. and then return the ones NOT used or tampered with to us for a refund.
