Boot Seal: 55-56 Chev / Pontiac / Olds Full Size all
This boot seal is specifically designed for 1955-56 full-size Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile 98 models. Alternatively unlike this solid seal originally used on 55-56 vehicles, the 1957 Chevrolet seal is hollow and includes pins, which can be removed for use on earlier models. While the 55-56 design is correct... the 57 boot seal design offers a superior and easier-to-install seal compared to generic one-size-fits-all options. Restorers of 55-56 models often prefer using the 57 seal with pins removed for improved results.
