Control Arm Bushing Kit: 1974-79 Camaro Firebird TA (8) FRONT- USA Polyurethane
- Complete bushing set.
- This is factory specific for 1974-1979
- Choose from black or red bushing.
Because polyurethane is unaffected by oil, smog, road salt, and most chemicals, it doesn't soften, compress, or distort like rubber does. So when you turn the steering wheel, take a high-speed corner, or hit some potholes, these bushings will give you the ride of your life.
1974-79 Camaro Firebird) - has 48mm Larger lower and 42 mm smaller lower. Uppers are no issue. Keep in mind around this build era and given the 40+ years most of these cars have been around .. mongrel things may have happened and a control arms of any year as any WILL FIT from the entire 1970-81 series...but have different bushings for whatever reasons the engineers of the day decided.
NOTE.. the UPPER FRONT BUSHES on late 74-79. are 35.6mm OD and have 4 raised locating lugs.. that's different to the earlier bushes. The upper rears are 34mm like all the other earlier ones.. It's just the servicing bushes that change. the holes sizes change. Any control arm must be fitted with the right bushes for THAT arm.. from the range of different sizes. Although this effects maybe 1 in 4 rebuilds... its stems back to someone not interested in longer term correctness.. but just getting it back on the road etc. and using anything that fitted.
