Dipper Switch headlamps: 1978 - 1987 El CAMINO
SEE A LOT MORE DETAILS in the LHS "DESCRIPTION" section. Dipper Switch used on the tilt and non tilt of most every 1978 - 1987 Chevy El Camino / GMC CABALLERO. This part is # 82 at the bottom of the page near the brake pedal.
A long rod goes down the side of your column to this switch. For this to work off your blinker lever.. you need to have the rod in place and the internals working fine.. make sure no boof head pulls the lever back too hard as it stretches and breaks the internal part inside the hub of your column.. and you then cant trigger the high beam.
