Its basically a small pressure sensitive shock absorber and is located above the catalytic converter and below the oil filter..
This is the last of the discontinued Absorbers.. they mount fit on the front side of the 85-87 V6 engine.
It works in conjunction with the engine strut to prevent too much front to back engine movement.
