Over time, the nylon gear inside your motor becomes stripped and the contact switches cease to work properly. Common symptoms include: -Motor continues to run after headlights have been shut off....continues to run and makes a chattering noise -Headlights will come up or go down intermittently...headlights will go halfway up and then fall back down.
Get one complete. .new trouble free .. while you can.
