For the price, no other part can give you the horsepower & flow improvements of a specifically made set of USA headers.  Delivery is additional.  If you have a MANUAL 2nd Gen FIREBIRD with the PONTIAC Engine in it.. RHD.. don't buy these without understanding you will have more alterations to do on the RHS then normal.
  • These Headers are made well (18 gauge steel construction).
  • Use this model for normal Pontiac V8s as stock fitted to the 2nd generation 1970-79 Firebirds and Trans Am.

  • In the Pontiac range of 60's & 70's V8 Heads.. some heads will require additional drilling & tapping for end hedder bolts.. some not - just depends on the original fitment manifolds of the original build.
  • BE AWARE .. there is NO refund on these headers... they are correct.... These are correct for LHD cars and the best we can obtain - after a lot of cost & time in trial and error... for clearances on RHD conversion.. MOST.. conversions. In about 5% of cases there will be pipe minimizing to do... but still a lot cheaper then getting a bunch of non-flow tested pipes welded together that resembled "hedders".

  • As certain people have purchased them from us... looking for templates to make there own.. . had pipe benders template them & then simply return ours claiming all sorts of reasons... but have used our headers & returned them . ie borrowed them for template making.... and returning to us stuff that has been fitted, pulled apart and looking like junk when the packaging and contents are returned. We don't lie about product & we don't give people second rate crap.. never have & never will - probably one of the reasons we are still around 27+ years later... There is no return on headers period.. so choose carefully please..

  • C - For 1964-74 vehicles without A.I.R. systems, are considered as O.E.M. replacement parts when existing emission controls are not removed from vehicle.

    I - 1975-79 Pontiac engine family only.. not ROUND port heads or Alloy heads etc....just factory Pontiac V8
    1 - Without smog injection or injection heads.
    4 - Includes parts necessary to retain emission devices (49-state).
    6 - Modification to stock exhaust required to retain catalytic converter.
    10 - Except round ports.
    23 - Some heads require drilling and tapping of end holes.
  • This is the best outcome for all .. or pay a BUCKET load more to try and get something made up or import your own etc.

    Due to weight and bulk... headers are subject to a bulky heavy delivery charge - we will let you know before getting too far down the track so it can be cancelled or alternatives .
