Ignition Switch: 1965 & earlier

This switch fits behind the lock and is engaged by it. Before purchasing, carefully compare the connection pattern to the existing one in your vehicle to ensure compatibility.

This is for 1965 & earlier American Chevy Impala/ Chevelle / El Camino's... but since the Aussie & Kiwi dash is actually a 65 Impala dash.. used on the 65 Pontiac Parisienne & Laurentian & Chevy.. and some 1966 .. it also fits both Parisiennes and Impala's. If your own a 65 Parisienne don't go trying to buy a US 65 Pontiac Catalina or Bonneville switch cause you'll be unhappy...:-(   NO SIDE LIGHT ATTACHMENT

Look hard at this switch terminal design to get it right the first time.. in comparison to yours if you want one.. this should still be it - unless altered at some stage in the cars ownership life etc.
