Pipe Heater Pontiac 64-81 Outlet Stainless

SKU: AUS997

This pipe is in the  rear TOP of the head on a "PONTIAC" V8 engine (not Olds or Chevys)... on the RHS.. the US Passenger side .. next to the intake manifold.

Made by PWD in Stainless Steel.

This durable stainless steel pipe features a built-in small rubber valve, providing essential protection for your engine. It helps prevent costly damage to your block or heater core as the vehicle ages. The heater hose connects directly to this component, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.

Another exported part produced by Ponti-World Australia.

Over time, the original pipe tends to corrode and break, usually at the embedded surface. Once it breaks, you face significant issues sealing the outlet—a smooth cast hole on the side of the engine head. During maintenance or rebuilding, inspect the old steel pipe and, if possible, replace it with this durable stainless steel version for improved reliability.

This does fit the 301 TURBO 1980 & 81 vehicles.. BUT its NOT angled like the Turbo one was originally. Check if buying it for a 301 T vehicle first.. outlet.

GM no longer supplies this pipe.. but when they did it was only ever made in rustable steel.

This Stainless steel duplicate is a export reproduction part made available again by PW Distribution (USA)
