Pontiac 69-81 Water pump plate & Heater Outlet pipe - S/S
Simple job lot.. these two parts often rust out around the same time.. when made in tin.
The Water pump plate for the 69-81 PONTIAC 301, 350, 400 & 455 V8.. sits behind the water pump.. and in front of the timing cover housing & helps guide the inbound water flow cavitation hard into the block.
Located on the right-hand side (American passenger side) of the head and intake manifold near the rear, the heater pipe is prone to cracking. Experiencing a failure while traveling or when starting the heater on a cold day highlights how challenging it can be to control the water outlet once this happens.
This is a kit of both parts.. BOTH are in Stainless Steel.
