Power Window Conversion Kit: 55-57 Chev Pont 4 door POST Sedan... w/cranks - 4 windows
This is a NEW USA made ... for SEDAN OR WAGON.. NOT 4 door pillarless . extremely well made / full kit with wiring & and door panel "handle cranks"/ switches + their Pillar wiring boots.
Primarily YOU GET DOUBLE WHAT IN THE MAIN IMAGE.. enough simply for 4 doors.
This KIT IS SPECIAL ORDER.. is often made to order and can take 3 - 5 weeks to come through our fortnight bulk air loads.
SPECIFICALLY FOR the 4 door POST or Wagon cars.. not other bodies. (call for others but ALL are covered in the 55-57 era)
It is designed to replace manual window regulators..with POWER regular BUT keep your HANDLES as the "SWITCH" is a special Handle Switch.. that you then just tip one way or the other for up or down
- ......This kit .. is more expensive then the one with chrome switches......but its gives you the additional electric switch window handle CRAnKS.. so you keep the VISUAL of your handle in the original location on your door trim.
- If using this kit you don't get the chrome switchs.. but 4 cranks.IF you want to NOT have to fit a typical window switch.. you can elect on a sparate listing to have the "HANDLE as the electric switch" known as a Crank Handle.. you use your window handle nugded either way.. ..it becomes the trigger .. one such kit is shown below that does two window.. but 4 also sets etc.. its another option.. something to think about. .. its then easier.. for your window to go up or down without destroying existing door trims and leaving holes where winders were etc.... thereby eliminating holes in existing door trims etc.
- AN OPTION for FULL DRIVER CONTROL is the 4 gang chrome switch with wiring and mounting clip for putting into a door tirm or other location to suit the reach of the driver.. discrete and convenient.. otherwise each window movement is controled by the Electric Crank switch shown below. There is also an option for a master switch and its wiring to mount on the trim or console or discretly on the dash area etc.. if wanted..allowing the driver to control all windows.. - its not included but comes with wiring if needed. just call us if its wanted also.
