Radiator Hose: Upper 1977-78 403 Olds (not 1979 403)
UPPER HOSE - USA made to Suit the following Pontiac only applications:
- 1970 Pontiac All V8
- 1977, 78, (NOT 79) Olds 6.6 ltr 403 V8
Note.. how this 1977-78 403 Hose comes around the alternator and down. It's different to a 1979 403 Olds when fitted to a Firebird TA... the water outlet is around 45 degrees .. points towards the upper front of the car ...
** the owner of this engine bay.. and car.. (Ben) let us know he uses this specific hose but trimmed it about 25mm to get a cleaner fit behind the alternator. Also he used the virtually vertical water neck .. rather then the usual type replacement 45 degree neck. Useful into only an in depth restorers figure out. Thanks to Ben for that tip.
