Sensor: Engine Coolant Temp: 1985-2002 *notes

This sensor is fitted to quiet a few 85 - 2002 GM V8 TPI the latter TBI & the V6 series Camaro & Firebird TA. Its used on many GM cars up through the 90's...see below.The sensor is located at the front TOP of the engine, under the Throttle body.. or next to the coolant sensor in some Carby versions also...it INTERFACES WITH THE ECM.. .. you'll find it next to another sensor.. (the Cold Start sensor... ).  This is a  widely used sensor from around 1985 to about 2010.. BUT. be careful if shopping around to match  your spade design in the head of the sensor.
