These are the USA made Monroes & are their Gas Charged series... it's their top of the line Touring Gas shock series.. . they do make lesser shocks.. these are the best in their line-up.

If you have sorta unlimited funds.. theres other brands like Edelbrock, Bilsteens, QA'1 etc etc..
Monroe V's KYB... Personally.. for quality of shock over time.... more people seem to be happy with the KYB series... then the Monroe... mind you Monroe make a good product. Don't forget if your springs are dead... shocks really are not going to do that much over the longer term.
