"KYB AGX" ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBERS - Manually Adjustable, Allows Quick And Easy Damping Rate Changes To Match Driving Preferences, Offers A Wide Range Of Damping Rates From Street To Strip, Perfect For Enthusiasts And High Performance Drivers
The single damping adjustment on the AGX units changes both the rebound and compression strokes. Depending on the model, there are either 4 or 8 eight stages of adjustment. Damping rate is selected with an external knob on the units body or a screwdriver slot at the top of the piston rod, depending on the model.
The lower the number, the softer the ride will be. Numbers 1 to 3 are the softest settings; 4 to 6 are medium range for track use or mild handling improvements; and 7 to 9 are the stiffest modes, best for race launching, high-end handling improvements and a harsher ride.
"KYB AGX's" have velocity-sensitive valving that gives you a comfortable ride under gentle driving conditions, and yet automatically gets firmer as the driving gets more serious.
