Detroit Speed’s weld-in subframe connectors for 1967-69 Firebird and Camaro models enhance chassis rigidity by linking the front subframe to the rear frame rails. Constructed from 2" x 3" x 0.120" rectangular steel tubing, these connectors include laser-cut brackets for a secure and straightforward weld. Their design minimizes visibility from beneath the vehicle, with a tapered rear end and a laser-cut slot that fits the rear seat floor pan precisely. Manufactured with precision bending and TIG welding, they do not obstruct seat hardware or rear leaf spring pocket access and are compatible with convertibles. Factory carpet fits seamlessly over the connectors. Installation is supported by detailed templates, photos, and instructions.
