For Camaro & Firebird Trans Ams...1984- 92 (for some NOT all) - AUTOMATICS with Tilt steering column Floor Shift . This is attached to the lower side of the steering column, when you turn the ignition LOCK.. your moving a rod on the column under the dash which makes contact with this switch at the base of the colomn ... THIS Ignition Switch. This is a 9 pin switch with Tilt COLOMN.... ..the picture IS correct. This is NOT for an H or G Engine Code..(8th letter of your VIN - This is for Tuned Port Injected Cars with F or 8 as the engine code 8th letter. Your switch may be BLACK or BLUE.
