This USA-tested and proven bearing is designed for GM-style rear axles. Instead of resting on the original worn track, it seats on a fresh, unmarked track adjacent to the previous wear area, effectively doubling the lifespan of your axle.
It also replaces and incorporates the original oil seal too.
This is for what's known mainly as the "10 bolt" rear end.. USED FROM THE mid 60's up to 1992......meaning your "inspection plate" that is seen from the rear of the car has 10 bolts holding it onto the diff housing.
Also used on 9 bolt Borg Warner rear ends in many years of the 80's Firebird & Camaro series.. - you will see them listed separately here.
Bearing size if you want to check up is 58.5 mm or 2.3 inches outside, axle od should be pretty much 35mm dia.
Keep in mind too there is a '12 bolt warn axle repair bearing too.. which is larger.. ok.. !... the axle dia on the 12 bolts is around 40mm & the bearing dia is 65.
