1: Wiper Motor Power Guide - 68-76 GM

This is the power plan.. if you bench test your wiper motor or ours...... Cross wiring it can kill it.

When some boofhead starts putting power to just any terminal and blow the thing internally apart.. blaming the wiper motor.. there is no fuse.. not kill switch....

Check also if your doing a rebuild/ rewire.. the wiring it right.. Even Auto Electricians make mistakes.. and those who do wiring as a hobby.. .maybe yours was not working because they don't have a two speed switch or have a two speed wiper on a single speed wiper.

Maybe especially as it happens.. in RHD conversions or earlie GMH RHD dash boards..fibreglass dashboards needed earthed switches at times...

The aim here is to prevent problems before they occur (and at the same time people hopfully stop people just start putting power to terminals hoping on a bench they have it right.) 

We have to pre-test EACH wiper motor now before they leave us in Wollongong.. something the US Suppliers do not do.. but in the end. if the person fitting it is does not know the right terminals to power or ground...or if wiring is adhock.. . its buggered.
