Pontiac GTO - Some say this is where the Muscle Car Era started.. .. maybe.. but it sure got a lot of attention.. the 64 Pontiac LeMans, like the next year too the 65 model .. all started out as A Pontiac LeMans, 2dr coupe, 2 door sedan or convertible but with the "GTO" Option package. This propelled the Pontiac A body into Muscle Car History. Inspired by former GM Chief & engineer John DeLorean the GTO or " grand Tourer homologated" .. although some referred to it as the "Grand Tempest Option". What ever it was.. the 1964 Pontaic GTO with its 389 V8 & tri power carby set up is one of the most prize, most collectible Muscle Cars that Live.
