Pontiac Firebird -  the Legendary Pontiac is born to the public early February 1967 with over 80,000 buyers accepting it instantly.  The Firebird Coupe & Convertible shared the same "F BODY" platform as the Chevrolet Camaro... but the engine and diff's were often different.. with Pontiac's reliable 6 as a standard.. and 326 V8 & reliable Pontiac 400 being the top of the spec list. The Firebird is recognized as a beautifully styled mid size car.. .. a perfect example of  why "The Muscle Car"  is  the Firebird 400 with the emerging Ram Am (1) option on a Firebird Coupe.
