This is a genuine GM early model part designed to help Pontiac owners reduce the general effect of Fuel Evaporation in late 60's - mid 70's GM V8's fitted with the GM Rochester Carby.

There is also a GM insulator for a Holley is you have that from factory or aftermarket also.
