Compressor: 62-81 era AC GM NEW

Brand new compressor for the older 62-81 GM vehicle.

Redesigned internal engineering makes this new series.. more efficent with R134 required gas.. and also a lot lighter .

Service Tip: Once filled with oil, place or hold the new A/C Compressor with the front seal facing down for 1-3 minutes. This will help coat the seal with oil - if this seal is not lubricated before installation, refrigerant may leak.

Spec.. main things..runs R134 gas.. it alloy.. has a 5" pulley. The Compressor includs all gaskets and seals to effect the changover repair.

Fits the brackets of the original GM compressor it is designed to replace..check your bracket structure to match this.

Colour is crook for those wanting an original engine bay.. but probably painting it.. and puting a AC decal on it.. might make it less obvious.

This is just one more option now available for those trying to get the AC system to ultimately be reliable again.
