Shipping and Returns

Deliveries - Free Freight Australia


We happily cover delivery for online orders for supply within Australia when your order amounts to $150 or more, excluding delivery to PO Box addresses or if you've chosen COD. We do not cover delivery for bulky or extreme weight items. There is a point of common sense must prevail. IE: If we sold an engine block for $151 and it went to Broome WA, the transport could could easily be $500. So we want this arrangement to help you STEP THROUGH your ongoing restoration needs and service parts requirements.

 

CHARGES ON CREDIT CARDS


Your order placed on the web is handled by & securely online with paypal.   We don't get to see a CC .. and prefer it that way.  So have no fear,   we get ripped off...our customers do not. Paying here or in the USA on line etc..  We prefer to do this in case of back-orders or any problems. We prefer to do it manually from the information you supply.

 



COD orders via the Web


Yes you can do COD orders via this web site, if preferred. Minimum COD is $25. Be aware even the most basic COD fee and postage cost will be added by the Post Office and be at least $12 + Post. Sometimes a bloody rip off especially if the item is of low value etc. Better option is a credit card and or direct deposit.

NO COD on very large items. THE POSTMAN CAN'T CARRY THEM. There is a cubic and weight limit for postal workers and items processed by the post. Most COD's take 3 days + one day per state on average away from NSW to arrive at your post office for collection. They DO NOT come to you. You will normally get a notification of the parcel and amount in your regular mail. If not, keep on top of them at your address's local post office for service. You pay them, pickup the part and they pay us a week later or so. A pretty good service.


National Australia Wide Deliveries


Delivery is covered in Australia when $150 or more and paid on line for supply within Australia or none bulky or extreme weight times.


 
International Deliveries


We employ various delivery methods both locally and internationally. These include registered parcel Post & Couriers. Internationally we use EPI, DHL and Certified Insured Post. We take a lot of pride in good packing. Packing that is not oversize for the type of item and sensitive to the cost needs for international delivery.


Returns

If you need to return an item to us, please follow the correct steps below. If you do not meet these guidelines, your item will not be returned:


Item Condition: All returned items must be unused, unopened and in brand new condition. This means the item is never installed and kept in the original manufactures packaging, the box and product cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation or pulled apart, etc. We don't accept returns for products that have been previously installed, opened or disassembled nor to do we accept returns for items damaged or marked while in your possession.

Call Or Email Us: Before returning an item, you'll need to notify us via email or phone with the following details:

- Your order number

- Your contact details

- Reason for returning

We will then be able to assist you. If you have recieved a parcel that was COD, we will not pick up the charges for that item. If you need to return a COD purchased item, please follow the above steps. We will not and cannot accept unknown packages and will charge senders who fail to follow this guideline.

 

Restocking Fee: All returns, including uncollected COD orders will be subject to up to a 25% restocking fee. The worse the condition of the packaging, and if we have to repackage, repair or clean up scribble off the manufacturers packaging etc, the more the refund fee. Just take good care of the parts, like we do, and the refund fee to cover costs will be like 10% after freight charges.

 

Non-Returnable Items


Literature, automotive videos, CDs, printed materials, stencil kits, stripes, electrical parts, gauges, wiring harnesses, switches, etc are non-returnable items.

All special order items may be asked to be prepaid in full at our discretion (really depends on if we know the customer or not), and once ordered, are non-returnable.

There is no guarantee on moving parts such as engines, transmissions, rear-ends, distributors, steering gears, water pumps, wiper motors, etc. If an item is painted, modified, altered, installed or disassembled in any way without Ponti-World / www.usgmserviceparts.com expressed permission, the item is non-returnable.



Ponti-World / www.usgmsp.com always recommends professional installation of all products.

Any non-returnable item, as described above, that is sent to Ponti-World / www.usgmserviceparts.com, will be shipped back to the customer at the customers expense.

Ponti-World / www.usgmsp.com is not responsible or liable for labor fees associated with the installation, removal, modification, compatibility of parts to altered or converted vehicles or  painting or repair of any product purchased regardless of circumstances.

Ponti-World / www.usgmsp.com is not responsible or liable for damage or dis-coloration incurred in relation to any chemicals or cleaners being used.


Refunds


All refunds are subject to the above RETURNS policy and Australian Consumer Law & will be administered back to the method of payment.
