The Muscle Car was well and truly in the life blood of everyday culture and the big three were  battling it out as the decade begun.  With 454 V8's  being slotted into the mid size range.. the Camaro was king in many ways.

   As the years were to pass.. emissions and build standards were revised, the Arab Oil Embargo plus a tough economy in the USA, revised insurance aspects and the need for speed containment meant many muscle cars went by they wayside... but the Camaro .. just kept on going, safer.. more efficiently and with extra comfort levels seldom seen in a muscle car.
