Overhauling a rear drum set up is often a real good option as opposed to putting on rear disc brakes.

All the GM factory engineering is in place, the cables for park brakes available, tension springs and wheel cylinders. Unless your chosen to do a disc conversion.. just restoring the rear drums well is an excellent option.
