Under the front of the 1977 & 78 Firebird TA .. in FRONT of the heavy metal reinforcement that goes from each front side of the chassis rails.. attached to The ReInforcement by push clips is this LOWER NOSE SKING FILLER.. or Absorber.

The upper section is filled by the headlamp housing cross support.
