Note: NOT FOR DRUM BRAKE FRONT ..
THIS IS FOR GM U.S. Single Piston DISC BRAKE FRONT
BORE IS 1 1/8"
1967-1977 Cast Iron with Bleeders 1-1/8" Bore; Deep Hole 9/16" & 1/2" Ports on Left Side with Bleeder Valves
Licensed GM Restoration Part Exact Copy of Original w/ casting number 5468309
For those with a need for a original casting master that is on SOME of the later 60's & early 70's GM vehicles.
Rear pipe thread is larger then the FRONT pipe thread as normal.
This is Correct for early years with FACTORY DISC BRAKE OPTION.. not 1 inch.
NOTE.. so you don't miss this or get confused.....In the transition years to front disc.. many boosters had a LONG pin push rod coming out of them..but they gave away to a industry wide SHORT pin, which normally signified the booster was for a Disc Brake car.
SO.. (stay awake now plz)..some people over the years welded a bit of pin extension onto the booster (desparate) or cut it down.
No need to worry with this Master as it comes with a removeable bullet type sleeve (shown above) in the MC piston bore supplied for optional use.. .. to allow for short pin indent boosters or visa versa - ... or pull the sleeve and its accepts the long booster piston rod.
Note: The casting # is: 5468309, Exact Copy of Original w/ casting numbers.
Note: This is a more correct for early 67-72 era cars that had FACTORY disc brakes...
This is a GM Approved copy of what is on SOME GM vehicles from around 67 to 77.. easily spotted by the use of individual bleeders for front & Rear chambers of the master.
Note: Bore: 1 1/8th inches.. (drum front used 1 inch so not this master if you have drum brakes.)
Note: Cast Iron with Bleeders ; 9/16" & 1/2" Ports on Left Side with Bleeder Valves.
