Brand New reproduction Steel hood for 1968-1970 GTO (except Ram Air).

This specific one suffered a mild dent in the centre which was repaired professionally.

Sound deadener was also applied in the recess's on the underside to minimise any frame to surface panel drumming, you can make out the matt contrast in the photo here.  This hood is in as new condition but under it you can it you look hard the thing has has a small repair.  Its not twisted or bowed..just had some bumps in the centre surface.

ONE ONLY.. SOLD as it.. 

Been a good quality part for all intents and purposes. You would be saving about $500 and I would be happy to use it too.

Packing is not just a cardboard box.. not with us anyway.. but it does cost and needs to be covered. A typical hood takes 32 metres of timber and a few sheets of ply to keep it so solid that rough handing and freighter who otherwise would/ do.. like down ordinarily packed hood box very very rarely can stuff this one.. they might "loose it"... but rarely now wreck it.  Packing takes around 2.5-3 hrs from start to finish and costs typically $120.  We can  insure them for transit without this sort of packing .. but when damage happens the insurance "adjusters" just call it "Insufficient Packing" and walk off.
