Reviews

Brand New Ac Delco Compressor or your choice of a GM Re-manufactured unit also... - for the 305 & 350 V8 family of engines.

Both are good... but useless changing it unless you do the entire job 100%

  •  Delivery is additional - we can figure that when it's known where to go, speed needed and if to a daytime commercial business premises or private.

Service Tip: Once filled with oil, place or hold the new A/C Compressor with the front seal facing down for 1-3 minutes. This will help coat the seal with oil - if this seal is not lubricated before installation, refrigerant may leak.

Check compressor oil before using.. even mounting and putting the belt on & running it .. will kill it .. just like an engine without oil.. and the right oil.... if you don't know what your Licensed to do.. DON"T DO IT.

Please specify Year, Make & Model.

  • Note: Some vehicles are fitted with a Nippon AC compressor..... this price does NOT cover those much more expensive compressors fitted to a few of the Corvette series.

    • COMPRESSORS are the # 1 Claim we have. .. we HATE supplying them.. .and its due to ALL THE OTHER fault issues that can arise like hi and low pressure switchs on working.. = blown compressor..   Gas irregular.. = Blown compressor.. Wrong or Low oil..= Blown Compressor.. .. Crap in the System = Blown Compressor..  Novice fits the new compressor up .. puts belt on. runds dry.. BLOWN COMPRESSOR..

      • Always check oil levels & lublication before starting... know what oil to use..and quantity... ALWAYS have the compresser systems switches checked for operation BEFORE starting..
      • You will bugger this compressor within minutes or hrs if there is crap in the system.. and be onto us for looking for a warrant claim..
      • READ THIS.. Compressors AC Systems are not for the average novice mechanic.. don't stuff it up .. do it ONCE RIGHT. Replace the filter/s. flush all systems.. replace condenser?/ .. check this site help link too
      • Should I also replace my condenser?
It is recommended that the condenser be replaced whenever the compressor is replaced. While older Tube & Fin style condensers can technically be flushed, metal shards from a failed compressor can get lodged in the cylindrical tubes and restrict refrigerant flow, diminishing the heat transfer capabilities of the condenser and A/C system. Newer style, mini-tube condensers cannot be flushed and should always be replaced along with the compressor.
      • Condenser style comparison of the condenser and A/C system. Newer style, mini-tube condensers cannot be flushed and should always be replaced along with the compressor.
