Ignition Switch: 69-02 Non Tilt Wheel - Various
Reviews

A replacement part.

NOT for 69-70 Firebird with NON tilt column.

Not to be confused with the ignition barrel and lock.

This part is 1/2 way down screwed to the steering colomn housing and the ignition rod goes to it...? down next or near the brake pedal.

Picture is correct.

NOT for 69-70 Firebird with NON tilt column.

NOTE: If your changing the these parts because the  ignition lock is sticking.. and your car is a 70-81 era Firebird TA or Camaro .. IN   R H D  converted form.. .. or your having trouble turning the ignition lock to the point where it's jambing.. on your Right Hand Drive Car.. .. CHECK FIRST.. the small lever at the base of your steering colomn.. in the engine bay.. . under the power booster.. that rod coming out of the colomn with an eyelet on it is originally a safety feature to prevent it being started in anything but PARK.. sometimes this lever if NOT welded /wired up or pushed around to its  UN-engaged position - will slip into the lock position and prevent the cars igntion switch from turning...    Just something to keep in mind.
