Fuel Injector: 85-86 V8 5.0ltr TPIInj V8 (GM NOS - Last one ever)
Reviews

LAST ONE NOS GM

This is a brand new GM Injector specifically for 85 & 86 Firebird & Camaro 5lt TPI 305   5.0ltr Injected V8.

Yes these are red hot expensive.. but GM ones have been forever & ever. Yes you can now buy a aftermarket set cheaper.. complain to GM about it.. but this is a genuine part for a specific injector need and

If your needing more then one.. consider a new aftermarket set.

This one is actually a Bosch Injector.. and can be.. and needs to be.. ID'd properly.. which can be done by the ID on the side of the injector being "RP".

What are symptoms of a problematic injector?

  • Check Engine Light/Misfiring engine caused by a change in the injector's flow
  • Noticeable fuel odor caused by leaky injector
  • Reduced gas mileage caused by an incorrect injector spray pattern
  • Inconsistent engine idling, hesitation or stalling caused by dirty injectors due to low quality fuel

Should you replace all injectors at once?
If an injector is faulty on a vehicle with high mileage chances are the remaining injectors are in a similar condition, or will be in the near future. Replacing your injectors as a set ensures each cylinder is receiving the same amount of fuel leading to better performance and improved fuel economy. Since the time required to replace a single injector is about the same as replacing all the injectors it is recommended to replace them as a set.
