Sector Gear Ignition Lock 69-86 w/o tilt 6 tooth
Reviews

This is the 6 tooth  (SIX) gear at the end of the ignition switch for most all GM NON-TILT steering columns.

The gear has 8 teeth slots.. as normal.

Different to a tilt wheel.. (which we also have) and most all 77 + cars had tilt wheels..

This is NOT 8 tooth..but 6 tooth.

NOTE: If your changing the these parts because the  ignition lock is sticking.. and your car is a 69-81 Firebird TA or Camaro .. IN   R H D  converted form.. .. or your having trouble turning the ignition lock to the point where its jambing.. on your Right Hand Drive Car.. .. CHECK FIRST.. the small lever at the base of your steering column . under the power booster.. that rod coming out of the colomn with an eyelet on it is originally a safety feature to prevent it being started in anything but PARK.. sometimes this lever if NOT wired up or pushed around to it UN-engaged position will slip into the lock position and prevent the cars igntion switch from turning...    Just something to keep in mind.
