These are GM Replacement rack and pinion'sfor the Corvette from 1984 thru 87 when LHD (as in WA & NT etc).

Note which year series you have in the box below if ordering - there are TWO types for the 84-87 series.

Type A: Power Complete Rack - w/STD RATIO STG - 2-1/2 TURNS LOCK TO LOCK AT STG WHL, LOWER PINION BEARING COVER MARKED CA, WL, WU

Type B:  Power Complete Rack - LOW RATIO STG & 2 TURNS LOCK TO LOCK AT STG WHL, LOWER PINION BEARING COVER MARKED WT

This will most likely also have been kept & used on Right Hand Drive Corvettes that have been "Chain or Cross Shaft" converted.. where the original Rack is used and the pedals have been rodded to work internally onto the LHS of the interior of the car.. but those are rarer Corvette conversions.. most RHD ones used a RHD rack.
