This is a  drag link or Center Link for the 68-72 GM cars per below:

• Pontiac GTO /LeMans,/ Tempest
• Pontiac Grand Prix / Ventura
• Chevelle / Malibu / Monte Carlo
• Buick Skylark, / GS
• Chevy El Camino,
• Olds Cutlass./ 442 / F85 / Vista Cruiser

This is for the LHD  vehicle.. not RHD..unless... your car has used the LHD drag link.. and then would be a typical early conversion in Australia.. often visually detected by the fact the LHD steering box was used ENCASED in a frame of steel.. on the US Passenger side inside frame rail..
