To help with the constant requests for information on how to rebuild and proceedures involved and parts involved inside the 69 & later steering columns from GM - here is some images to help you.

   If you need it we do have a specialised licensed tech workshop that does rebuild these.. he has our parts resources at hand and ultimately now many imported columns for wrecking needs as not all parts are available.. and some are different to each other. Unfortunately they do not offer a phone in help service.   Various specialized tools are used for de-constructing columns and at times the need for 2 sets of hands..  if you need a column rebuilt.. its generally about $150 plus parts plus transport. + gst etc.. can be $300 to $600 often if worse comes to worse... and thats if its not been pulled to bits already and bits lost... which has happenned...

Hope these images help.  Also try youtube & google.com for people who have filmed rebuilding.. they can also often be rung (usually in the USA) or ring various USA ebay for step by step - but realistically you need a workshop manual.. the right tools and some experience to boot.  While we try to help.. we just don't have the free call manpower / trained staff to supply all the aspects of all repairs - as  you could probably appreciate.
