<p>I had to have a portion of my axle machined to make this work.</p> <p>There was a lip/step on the transition between the bearing running surface and the axle flange which stopped the axle from going all the way in to install the &#39;c&#39; clip.</p> <p>This was still far more cost effective than replacing the axle.</p>
