1978-87 TPO/TPUR rear center bumper filler. A quality way to replace the rear filler on your 1978-87 Chevrolet El Camino, El camino SS, CHOO CHOO Custom, Diablo, Conquista, Royal Knight, Black Knight, GMC Caballero. Replaces GM part number # 796922
This is not a cheap plastic part.
The chemical makeup is like OEM. It has superior 40 year old TPO/TPUR compounds. New molds were built off the last production runs of the original units. However the chemical makeup is better than GM's originals.
You will not see the pock marks in the fillers & they are ready to scuff, adhesion promote and paint. Since the material is a TPO/TPUR compound you will want to use an adhesion promoter to be done by a qualified body shop. They look & feel just like the original GM units, just a better chemical composition.
They flex but a tiny bit firmer than OEM.
