Just the cover the for pump only..for the 2 speed wiper... often baked away after decades of engine heat etc.. or cracked.. pretty important to keep the electrical pump components clean and dry.. 

Check your pump design first up as there are a few types.. the other main one is a rectangular block type so this is pretty obvious.
