This is a aftermarket replacement economy line distributor module for the 74-90 era vehicles as listed below... MAINLY used on GM V8 cars found in Australia from 74-82 era.. check Image .. 4 contacts.. 3 of 1 size and one smaller.. image is correct. Electrical parts are none returnable.
Nag Session: Remember to put the silicone grease on the underside FIRST when fitting a new one.
This is a non genuine aftermarket part.. warranty is 14 days.. it may last years but they are cheap and supplied to get you out of trouble....or as a glovebox spare.. But be REALLY REALLY carefull about the quality of electronic ignition parts you install.. different parts have different values......like HEI ignition coils which look & fit the same exactly - except some of the wire colours.. some are made for LH rotation Distributors .. others for RH.
Modules too have way different values.. We carry this only on a competative need basic.. don't but... no matter where you buy these sorts of parts.. TRY for YOUR OWN SAKE... buy quality where you can.
Extreme Caution when wiring up the tacho... Never ground the TACH terminal; serious ignition module (if a HEI Dissy is fitted) and coil damage will result. If there is any doubt as to the correct tachometer hookup, check with the tachometer manufacturer.
End Nag session....
... in the end.. this is a aftermarket copy of a genuine part. May not work well for a long time... but it may ....
NO warranty.. they are brand new.. ..but good for a glove box spare for sure.
