For those with the 93- 94 GM V8.. these  distributors were subject to recall and extensive issues particularly overheating and vapor leak  the optispark system.. leading to what seems to be like a spark plug or lead miss were soon after getting warm. Let it cool and maybe 30 minutes later it may start and drive for 10 minutes.Think of vapor into a optispark lazer electrical vapor chamber..

We have limited reasons for being happy when asked to elaborate of the virtues of this, or home or professional mechanica going on the product quality attack etc.. We did not make them.. GM DID.   but otherwise once sorted they are  good engines otherwise from all accounts.

YOU MUST STUDY THIS MORE THEN AVERAGE.. some links are below to help you. These is NO warranty viable on these. or GM or GM rebuilt or Repro types of this dissy  as often the issue is NOT the Dissy.....but this brand Accel comes highly recommended by more then a few professionals who have gone thru the hoops fitting and refittng the types of this dissy GM made.

This Accel  improved dissy apparently has the answers covered.. when fitted by peole who know and are experienced with them.  Venting must be right.. never have it wrong..

Seems Accel sorted the main vapor issue with the help of a Mitsubishi sensor.. the seals are norotrious for leaking oil and more ..so know what your doing.  GM refined this type of dissy from late 94 but was not perfect..   For more info..look up a youtube video of your choice..there are heaps of them. related to 93-94 GM V8 Optispark problems.
