Glass Windscreen: 67-69 F Convertible
Reviews

We don't carry a lot of windscreens due to breakage but .. there is / has  been a shortage of qualtiy Convertible Firebird or Camaro windscreens.

People with these cars are being told.. they are months off in a container etc etc etc etc..

We don't normally carry windscreen because quite frankly.. they break & there is no repair, we eat it.  They get dropped in transit by a freight company..we eat it.... the box can be marked fragile and glass and all that.. but nobody normally cares less in the end.. some boofhead along the freight trail only has to not care ..we eat it in the end.... nobody gives a rats bum and windscreens are nearly impossible to insure internationaly .. with any financial viability.

Recently we took the step to help one Sydney owner & good customer who had to have one.. bit the bullet of undeposited total responsibility.... quoted this amount.. had it handled by our guy in CA with kid gloves.. handled again the same way within the control or our export people.. OUT of our control in the air movement handling.. then again back into our direct care once off the plane.

It survived.. others over the years have not and thats a total loss.

One thing we do pretty well normally. .is we don't just ship by sea and wait months.. we do A LOT .. real LOT of aircargo... keeps things moving... have for years..1,000 kg weekly service parts loads are not at all uncommon, expecially this time of year too out of interest... anyway.

Anyway.. we did it again last week (mid Nov 2017) by aircargo with two more.convertible windscreens..again one for a customer who tried everywhere as did his insurance company. With Glass like this... .you can't consolidate stuff in the boxes to help offset costs.. you need to suspend then into a very big space.

As you can see from the photo of one out of a box which is needed to contain one properly..... they are NOT just something posted over .. basically they are a double size coffin box.. try airfreighting that on your own.. with absolute care. Top loading.. not laid vertical when your backs turned or used as a base loading, the cost blows out..plus tax. and you pay even it when you unpack it.. its broken.

Anyway..there is nothing in this except the service to known customers. If you need a convertible tinted laminated 67-69 Camaro or Firebird convertible windscreen.. we have ONE as of 28 Nov. Maybe somebody will bring some in for a $100 each in a container.. one day.. but till then.. without exploiting anybody.. we have one to get the next customer out of a problem etc.
