This is the SWITCH that goes BEHIND the lock..it's what the lock pushes into..

Before ordering LOOK AT THIS connection patten .. make sure its the same as whereever may now be in your car.

This is for 1965 & earlier  American Chevy Impala/ Chevelle / El Camino's... but since the Aussie dash is actually a 65 Impala dash.. used on the 65 Pontiac Parisienne & Laurentian & Chevy.. and some 1966 .. it also fits both Parisiennes and Impala's. If your own a 65 Parisienne don't go trying to buy a US 65 Pontiac Catalina or Bonneville switch cause you'll be unhappy...:-(

Look hard at this switch terminal design to get it right the first time.. in comparision to yours if you want one.. this should still be it - unless altered at some stage in the cars ownership life etc.
