This is used mainly on 87-88 Camaro Firebird V8 Series.. but is used by GM on others up to 1992.

Two Pin Oil sender unit with the Fuel cutt-off built in .. it has TWO PINS.. not three..

If you want the connector.. seach for PW210815A

This allows for the computor to put the car into "Limp Home Mode" if the oil pressure falls to a low range, rather then the engine blowing etc.

• Term "Sensor/ sender or Switch" is the same in this instance.
• This oil pressure switch and sensor indicates if the oil pump and lubrication system are working properly, detects if the pump or relief valves are stuck open, senses if there is insufficient oil, and provides inputs that determine the useful life of the oil.

    GM Has discontinued this part as an active service part now.. we do have a few and will maintain the stock still it expires then see what happens.
